Booking Through Thursday #1

Hey guys. So today I thought I'd try out the Booking Through Thursday Meme hosted here. This week is National Book Week and today's Rules are Grab the closest book to you. Go to page 56. Copy the 5th sentence as your status.

 I have a pile of books next to me and the top one is The Shattering by Karen Healey.

"Matthew had just sat there, vomiting and turning bright red while his body tried to breathe the stinking exhaust fumes."


Well...that is certainly an intense line. I guess this will have to be read sooner rather than later eh?

    I'm a new follower (: It's my first time participating in Booking Through Thursday too! That is a pretty intense sentence. That sounds like a pretty amazing book! I'll have to check it out.

    Ha, ha, ha! I picked up the closest book to me and turned to the sentence and my status is:
    "Very quiet."
    I find that hilarious.
    Oh, and by the way that is from Dark Mirror by M.J. Putney.
