This week's topic is:
Top Ten best/worse series endings! (real post)
Top Ten Series I will finish sometime in the soon-ish future
When I saw this weeks prompt I thought about all the series that I have actually finished. This took about 2 seconds because I've only finished a handful...three? So, I thought I would steal this excellent prompt That Jaime at The Perpetual Page Turner did this week for pretty much the same reason.

The Broke and the Bookish is a group of college aged and twenty somethings that have an unhealthy obsession with reading and would spend every last penny on books even if it meant skipping a few meals. We are the people who lurk in the library, buy handbags based on how many books can be stashed in them, and who refer to characters in books as if they are personal friends. We sought after other bookish college students to share in our love for reading and were brought together by the College Students group on Goodreads that was created in September 2008. Our desire to share great books with each other in and our tendency to be opinionated and passionate about all things book related naturally led to the birth of The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010.
I did like the Graceling Series very much. Kelley at the road goes ever ever on
ReplyDeleteI need to finish Graceling series as well. Bitterblue is just so big! That book looks like it'll take me years to get through. The only series on that list that I have read is Clarity -- and I thought the first book was a little better than the second, but it was nice to figure out how things wrap up.
ReplyDeleteBitterblue is gigantic. My arms feel tired just looking at it.

I hated the endings of Delirium, Beautiful Creatures, and Nightshade. But the rest were pretty good. Have fun reading them and hopefully you'll like all the endings.
ReplyDeleteYikes! /I have heard unkind things about the ends of those series though. Hopefully I'll find them at least okay.
DeleteOoh nice! I love love love the Iron Fey, in fact that was one of my picks! Paranormalcy was also good! There's kind of a love/hate going on with Nightshade. I too need to read the last book in the Hourglass trilogy. It was just 3 books right? Read the first two!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I believe there are only three books. So only one more for you!
DeleteI'm really careful about which series I start these days. I had too many on going ones. I think I was at almost 50 at one point. I started forgetting who everyone was. lol
ReplyDeleteThat's what happens to me. I usually will read the first book to see if I would like the series and then try to wait until they all come out so I can read them straight through.
DeleteI still need to finish Paranormalcy, BC & Graceling, too. I'm not that good at finishing series, too, but this year I've been working on them, and I've made quite a dent in them, although there are a lot more I need to catch up on or finish.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, you'll finish them soon & enjoy them.
happy reading!
I am the worst at finishing series. Perception is fun but nearly as good as Clarity. I still need to finish The Mortal Instruments but I forgot what happened so I think I may have to start again at book 1.
